Bob Normand, Chairman of the Board

Bob retired from the position of President and CEO of ATB Financial in 2008. Prior to joining ATB he held senior positions in the Bank of Montreal where he worked for 26 years. He is currently a director of Canadian Utilities and ATCO, as well as Chair of the Workers Compensation Board of Alberta.


John Hokanson

John is the founder of the Hokanson Group of companies and its main operating subsidiary, HCI Ventures Inc. His vision has enabled HCI Ventures to become a leading farmland owner in Western Canada.  He is a successful Edmonton businessman and entrepreneur with over 30 years’ experience in the energy services sector as former President and CEO of PTI Group Inc., Wadeco Oilfield Services Ltd. and Enserco Energy Service Company Inc. He has held board positions with the Capital Health Authority, NAIT and the Workers Compensation Board. He is a benefactor of Edmonton having made generous contributions to the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, Cross Cancer Institute, NAIT and the University of Alberta.


Art Froehlich

Art is currently a strategic advisor with AdFarm, one of North America’s largest agriculture and food marketing and communications companies. Over the last 30 years he has held senior positions with Hoechst Canada Inc., Alberta Pool and Westcan Malting. He currently sits on many corporate boards including ATB Financial, Prince Rupert Grain, AVAC Ltd, and AgWest Biosciences. 


Larry Ruud

Larry has been actively involved in farming and ranching for over 20 years with positions in ownership, management and operations. He is currently a director of Viterra and until recently was CEO of One Earth Farms. He was a partner of Meyers Norris Penny where he led their agriculture management consulting team.


Bev Wittmack

Bev began her professional career with Deloittes, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. In 1978 she joined Humford Developments Ltd. in Edmonton and was appointed VP, Finance in 1981. She was appointed president in 1987, a position she held until her retirement in 2010. In addition to serving on the board of JEH Enterprises she remains active as a 50% partner in a management consulting company focusing on the real estate sector.


Rachael McEachern

Rachael is a Founder and Principal at Burst Communications. Prior to launching Burst, she was a management consultant who specialized in maximizing revenue growth through marketing and sales strategies and product positioning. Her clients have included the largest cable and broadband operators in North America as well as small, Aberta-based companies interested in positioning their brand and building their client base.


Jonathan Hokanson

Jonathan is the President, CEO and founder of Standard Scaffold & Insulation Inc. In 2014 he was honoured for his business acumen with the Business in Edmonton Leaders of Tomorrow award. Having spent most of his career as a tradesman, he has grown his enterprise into a 200 person operation. Jonathan, along with Standard Scaffold supports the local community through funding junior rugby and in a partnership with Blue Quills College to provide pre-apprenticeship training to disadvantaged aboriginal youths.
